OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE TOOLS AND SUPPORT FOR CANCER SURVIVORS DURING & AFTER TREATMENTS

We believe that no one should face cancer alone, and we are committed to helping survivors thrive beyond their diagnosis.

Each Moment We’re Alive was established by a breast cancer survivor with a mission to empower women with cancer to find joy and self-love, EMWA's efforts expanded as they were approached by individuals with various types of cancer seeking support. While their main focus remains on supporting women with cancer, EMWA also connects men and children to suitable support groups within their network. Understanding that cancer impacts not only the individual but also their loved ones, EMWA is dedicated to aiding the entire family unit during these challenging times.

How we are making
a difference

Our goal is to help survivors navigate the challenges of their cancer journey, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can connect with others who have gone through similar experiences. We do this through a variety of channels, including support groups and workshops.

Make A Difference With Us

Partnering With Us

Partnering with us to help cancer survivors can have a profound impact on their lives. As a sponsor, your support helps to provide free support to survivors through various programs and events. This contribution is incredibly valuable to the community, as survivors often face physical, emotional, and financial challenges following their treatment.

Stories of Impact

The facilitators are all cancer survivors. They know what it's like to go through the rigors of treatment and the after effects from those treatments from experience unlike groups I've attended, unless you have gone through cancer treatments.

What is really special about the support group is we have all become friends. When one of us is having a particular hard time physically and emotionally one of will either go sit with that person, maybe give them a hug or go into another room to talk privately and sometimes also to pray with or for that person that is going through a hard time.

Now that's what I call unconditional support and caring for one another!
